Before Installing the App

1. Download the DroidJoy server software from here.
2. Install and start the server on your PC. If you encounter any problems, please don't hesitate to contact me.
3. Ensure that your server and your smartphone are connected to the same network. If you intend to use Bluetooth, make sure that your PC is set to visible.
4. Start the DroidJoy app. Go to the "Connect" window and click "Search server".

Windows 10 1903 Problem:

DInput is no longer supported in server version 2.1.0. If you still need to use DInput, you must use DroidJoy server version 2.0.4 and have an older Windows version installed than Windows 10 build 1903.

With DroidJoy, you can use your Android smartphone as a PC joystick/controller. Almost every game is supported through DInput and XInput emulation, including popular titles such as GTA V, Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Sonic Mania, GTA San Andreas, and Counter Strike.

If you encounter any problems during the server installation, please feel free to contact me. I will respond as soon as possible.

Be sure that the DroidJoy server is running when you start your game or emulator. The game may not recognize gamepads that are plugged in during runtime. In this case, simply restart your game.

DroidJoy turns your Android smartphone into a real gamepad device for your Windows PC. It offers numerous controller configuration options, allowing you to use it for various game genres. DroidJoy is not just a simple keyboard and mouse emulator; it is a genuine gamepad. The driver and server are available for Windows 7 and above. The server can support up to 4 DroidJoy clients, enabling multiplayer gaming with friends using only your smartphones.

If you receive any warnings from Windows or your firewall, please don't worry. The server has been tested on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. If you encounter any issues during the server installation, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Information

If you want to connect more than one smartphone to your PC, you need to configure the same number of virtual gamepads in the server application.

Note: There can be several reasons why your game doesn't recognize the virtual gamepad as an input device. Some new games only support Xbox gamepads and may not work with DInput gamepads. If you want to play a game that only supports PC-Xbox gamepads, you need to configure the DroidJoy server to emulate XInput devices.
